We've been using this build for roughly six months without major issues until recently. The CPU motherboard light started flashing red and didn't turn off. Initially, I removed the side panel, rechecked connectors, reseated RAM chips and GPU, and powered it back up—seemed normal except for slower performance. Now, about a month later, it's happening again. Before repeating the troubleshooting steps, do you know why this keeps occurring? The system runs: ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-F WIFI INTEL CORE i9 12900KS 2x16GB Corsair Dom DDR5 5600 C36 EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P6 Platinum Corsair iCUE H150i PRO XT RGB Liquid CPU Cooler ASUS 3080 ROG Strix OCV2 ampere White. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Are you confirming the bios settings are current? You might want to reinsert the CPU for improved performance.

I considered replacing the CPU again, though I was aiming to do it only if necessary. Regarding the BIOS, I believe it remains unchanged from when it was shipped.

I recently returned from work and wanted to check the PC. I started by testing the GPU first, which seemed the simplest option. I pushed on the GPU and noticed some creaks and squeaks, almost as if it might fall out of place. After restarting it, it worked again. It appears the GPU is shifting slightly because of its weight and movement when the tower is moved around, which stops it from overheating. We should probably relocate the tower to a more stable spot and look for a compatible GPU case that fits the Corsair Carbide design.
