I really don’t understand how it reached 5.3ghz when the maximum is supposed to be 4.1ghz. I was just watching Discovery after restarting my system with a 64GB RAM, Ryzen 5700X3D, and an Asus TUF WiFi plus mobile card. The CPU also started at 4ghz instead of the 3.2 base clock—hopefully that’s enough info.

It's a common issue: those peak boost figures are usually unreliable on HWMon, particularly during the first boot. I've noticed my 7800X3D reportedly reaching over 6Ghz (actually capped around 5.1-5.2Ghz), and my older 5900X workstation, which had a strong overclock, managed to hit 8Ghz at one point! I was using air cooling back then. "View" – "Clear Min/Mx" will reset the problems that appear when launching the app… after that it tends to work much better, though you'll still occasionally see some hiccups.
