I recently purchased the Mobo and discovered the skull feature isn’t activating. Someone could help clarify what’s happening so you can enjoy it again.

The PCPER assessment is available in the BIOS, within the section labeled "ON BOARD DEVICES."

I'll give it a shot now and let you know if it goes well.

It seems the purpose of that board wasn't clear, especially with such a low-end processor like an i5-655K. It might have been meant for basic tasks or testing, but without unlocked multiplier support it wouldn’t run many modern apps smoothly.

It's perfectly okay with that my laptop running an i5 5200 has two cores—it might be slow and not the fastest, but it still works for PS360 games and other tasks. Watching YouTube, editing images, or video editing doesn’t cause any major problems. I even use Windows Movie Maker, which is a nice, old-school tool!

Back then, Intel enthusiast boards were considered premium chipsets with strong CPU support. This one seems like a decent build, though it feels a bit unusual compared to the high-end options available at the time.

My recall is a bit unclear, but it seems those were times when HEDT worked alongside the desktop line. If you're after top-tier gear, you'd get X58 (DX58SO) and a 900 series, while the DP55KG was for the desktop line and the 800 series.
