you just got a pc with an i5 13400f, and you're using a hp omen 27 monitor. when adjusting display settings to 165hz, the highest option you can use is 75hz. similarly, in the nvidia control panel, the same issue persists even though you switched to a displayport. you're unsure what to do next.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Based on the manaual provided, you should connect your panel to the Display Port on your GPU and monitor to achieve 165Hz. What

You might also require the tailored drivers for your monitor, rather than just the standard Windows installation options.

i’ve tested placing the cable in every possible location, same with the displayport and still nothing.
