It's a project built on surplus funds, focusing heavily on the motherboard area where expenses are highest.
If you're looking for a wifi board, there are still quality options available at roughly half the price of the around $600 Dark Hero model.
This build also includes a compact power supply unit (SFU) for an additional reason.
It will definitely be quick. I might give up half the RAM to get faster RAM and a 2TB SSD.
Why SFX?
Also, be sure to update your BIOS right away; otherwise, you risk harming your new CPU.

Thank you for the clarifications. The reaction to the MoBo selection was expected. In reality, the main goal goes beyond just gaming and Thunderbolt features coming by default.
I wouldn't purchase Intel at the moment. I haven't been fully satisfied that the claimed solutions actually resolved the issues.
