Hello, Your friend is facing an issue where he can’t play GTA or RDR because his Epic Games account is tied to another social club account. The problem started a year ago and hasn’t been resolved since. The error reads: “this epic games account is already linked to a different social club account. Please log in with that social club account instead.” When he tries to access it through the social club, it shows login failed. Using his email on the social club works, but logging in online to the club fails. Opening GTA from Rockstar Games Launcher also leads to the same error. Have anyone experienced this recently? Any suggestions or solutions have been shared on Reddit? Thanks for your help.
I encountered a similar issue a few days back. When launching the game, it prompts "we couldn't sign you in automatically, please login manually using ***********@******.com". The concern is that this isn't my email address and certainly not my social club account. Using my only social club I normally use still triggers the same error OP mentioned. I reached out to Epic and Rockstar, but both refused assistance—Epic said they couldn't help and Rockstar didn’t respond. I’ve checked recent reports and discussions about this problem. Appreciate any guidance you can provide.
