Dark Souls offers a controller experience. Spec Ops: The Line is a solid third-person title with controller compatibility. Shadow of War and its sequel are also available in third person. Borderlands 2, Fallout 4, Metro series, GTA 5, Warhammer 40K, Space Marine (2011), and Star Wars Battlefront 2 support controllers. Republic Commando might be worth checking if it has support.

It was the "Astroneer - Game preview launch trailer." If you've experienced or enjoyed Space Engineers, you'll understand why I view this as disappointing. (Excluding game crashes and bugs from SE)

Civilization 5 or 6 available on Steam. For controller use, a Steam gamepad is required; otherwise, a wireless mouse works fine. In single-player mode, you don’t rely on the keyboard.

Deus Ex Human Rev or Mankind Divided were clearly tuned for consoles. The main perk on PC at least is the visuals. Even aiming with a mouse doesn’t seem to make much difference. Although it’s a cyberpunk world rather than a fantasy one, it still feels affordable and entertaining.

Fallout 4 fell short unless you consider the DLCs; otherwise, the core game is solid and it’s unclear what extra content would have met certain fans’ hopes.

I suggest trying any of the Bethesda RPG titles, since they’re my go-to when I just want to unwind. Based on the settings, I also find Elder Scrolls games more calming than Fallout ones.

This outcome was disappointing. The material seems heavily copied, which is concerning despite the available defenses.
