Hey everyone, I just got Hogwarts Legacy and it’s been really tough to play. I’ve checked the in-game benchmarks and the high-end GPU options, but everything keeps freezing or jumping. I know from watching videos on YouTube that the game is heavily optimized, which explains a lot of the problems. I’m hoping someone here has a solution so I can enjoy the game without these issues. Right now, I don’t care about the visual quality—just smooth performance is what matters. Thanks! My laptop is an ASUS TUF A17 FA707XI with a 512 GB hard drive, Ryzen 9 CPU, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Home, and it uses the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.

With those specifications, you should see a big improvement. Back then, my setup had a Ryzen 5800X and a 3080 Ti GPU, letting me run the game smoothly at 1440p with over 60 fps. Make sure your GPU drivers are current or reinstall the Nvidia drivers. Also, consider whether you're playing with power supply or on battery—laptop gaming usually needs a stable connection. Check your Windows power plan and ensure high performance is selected.

Hey, it's really odd how things started working fine but then suddenly stopped. It dropped from 150fps down to 55 and then 70. I'm playing with the power supply connected and have tried everything. It doesn't seem to be stressing the GPU or CPU much—it feels like the game has a bug. I'll do a clean install since they're definitely updated.
