It appears overly softened... reminiscent of a poor ENB setting. Still, it looks quite appealing, though I prioritize gameplay over visuals. The original Crysis remains a solidly stylish title, but I still find it a rather mediocre experience overall. The narrative and mechanics felt dull and repetitive, and the AI performance was lacking. Ultimately, I’ll evaluate this game once I’ve played it.
They surveyed the options, and it seems to have fallen short. @OP has been keeping up with this game for some time, it appears promising, and I'm eager to play once it concludes. Still, I feel Bannerlords comes across as stronger (
I think CR has talked about this earlier. Since both use CryEngine and aim for large-scale environments, it makes sense they could support each other.
Seems appealing. It’s likely to be a game that looks visually attractive, even if it doesn’t offer much substance.
Yeah, it's really too soon to label it like that now... not having played it yet... but "CryEngine" always feels like it's about flashy graphics first. Homefront, all the Crysis titles (except a few), Ryse, the original Far Cry, Warface... they all seem pretty underwhelming in my view. Probably only managed to succeed because they looked nice. The exceptions might be Evolve and maybe Star Citizen. Of course, this could change... who knows? I don’t really trust anything when it comes to CryEngine.
