Hello, I'm trying to figure out the purpose of this device. A network installer recently installed one on my coaxial plug, and I found it online matching the model on my setup. Since my internet uses the phone line, it shouldn't affect whether I have it on the coaxial port or not. I'm curious about what it actually does. Thanks!
