it's all about the numbers... each 8-pin connector is designed to output 150 watts, but the PSU can only supply under 300 watts. this ensures stability even when multiple cables are used. the pigtails suit lower-power components, not top-tier ones. i'd label the 7900xtx as high-end since you have a tower cooler—consider removing the mainboard to test basics alone. avoid connecting fans or the GPU; just start with the essentials. no other devices should be plugged in.

Removed the motherboard and connected only the CPU, CPU cooler RAM, and NVMe port. Only the CPU and its components are present. Attempted to boot, but failed completely—only the MB RGB lights up, no response during startup. It seems the motherboard might be defective. I plan to inspect the CPU during disassembly.

NVME isn't required for the boot process, so you can skip it. However, it seems like the system is showing signs of a dead motherboard. Flashing the BIOS might be confusing. This likely means the device wasn't successfully updated. Are you certain the flash went through?

I’m beginning to question whether the BIOS flash actually worked. Still, it performed that blink sequence—three blinks followed by a slower pattern for about fifteen minutes—and then shut down. I just spoke with support right now and am submitting the case. It might have been a small win in troubleshooting. Thanks! I’ll share the result here later. P.S.: It was odd at first—I hoped nothing was wrong with the MB, but now I’m worried about the memory module.

I replaced the motherboard because the B650E-E was available at the same shop. It’s working fine so far. Appreciate your assistance—it’s been a useful lesson. Have a great day!
