Hello, I've got a laptop with 128GB RAM and a desktop with 48GB. Both have 4090 and 13980HX and 13900KS CPUs. When idle, the laptop uses around 10GB of RAM and drops to about 7GB once background apps are off. The PC uses only about 4GB. During Fortnite, the laptop consumes a huge 20-23GB of RAM while the PC uses roughly 12GB. Task manager shows no other processes using extra RAM on the laptop—it's the same as the PC. Any suggestions?

More RAM helps Windows handle background tasks more smoothly through compression, easing the CPU load. However, if your system is memory-heavy, you might need to adjust settings to cut down on unused RAM, though this could actually worsen CPU congestion since the OS would still allocate cores regardless.
