This CPU cooler is generating an excessive amount of noise.
I adjusted the BIOS settings and noticed a MOS fan spinning at 16000 RPM. I attempted to lower it but it didn’t respond. Then I powered down the CPU cooler, but the noise persisted. I also turned off the case fans, yet it remained loud. I realized the issue wasn’t the GPU since those were off most of the time. My next idea was to check the power supply unit—listening through the PC case helped confirm the motherboard fan was the source. I tried using Dragon Center or BIOS controls, but nothing worked.
It sounds like you're describing a situation involving a fan connected to a motherboard, which isn't typical. Providing a parts list or photos would clarify the issue for others.
The small chipset coolers are really bad—they’re noisy, tend to break easily, and often stop working. If you can, remove the small fan cover and swap it out for something bigger like a 92mm model. Depending on your case’s airflow needs, that might work just fine.
Which motherboard are you referring to? It doesn't appear to be an X570.
