Attempted to understand the meaning of u3_pwr – nothing came up. You might want to look for your old motherboard’s user guide, though it could be challenging because it comes from a prebuilt system.
The system doesn't have the file for that motherboard. I even tried Rog, but I couldn't connect the front panel. I was hoping for a new case anyway, but I'm not rich. So I guess I'll just wait until I can afford one. Thanks for your help!
It's a specialized connector designed exclusively for the board included with the case. Other aftermarket motherboards likely lack this feature. The setup includes Ground, 12V, and 5V wires. You might be able to create a Molex-style connector using one of the power supply cables with some adjustments. https://www.amazon.com/Molex-4-Pin-Male-...B014K8OXLE
I reviewed the schematic. The u3_pwr header supplies power to the front panel board, which contains USB ports, a card reader, SATA couplers, and an audio jack. Most of the components requiring power should be limited to the USB hub and card reader sections. There are traces from the SATA ports, so it might not appear fully passive. Connecting 5V and 12V seems reasonable. I plan to create a MOLEX adapter for the Asus cable to test functionality.
