The problem seems to be that the drive isn't being recognized. Your friend used the same SSD and initialized it in BIOS, which suggests the issue might be with your system's setup. You installed Windows on your HDD to get it working, but you're still having trouble seeing the M.2 SSD in your BIOS. It's been about five hours of trying without success.

Start up simple – just open diskmgmt.msc and your PC will prompt for it. Use GPT.

The installation of Windows handles the initial setup automatically, so you don’t need to place Windows elsewhere or manually start the disk.
