Connect the SATA port to a SATA power cable from the PSU, it should energize fans or hubs. The internet connection via Ethernet remains unaffected. What operating system were you using?

What board were you using or modified? It might be a different chipset. Once you install Windows, the network should function properly without extra drivers.

I was working with an ASUS Strix H270F gaming board, but the LAN port isn’t lighting up at all... Installing the Wi-Fi driver keeps causing issues, and I’m worried about having to wipe the SSD as a final option.
