The pump cable functions identically to a fan cable. AIO_Pump is the relevant reference.

The pump only responds to RPM signals sent to the motherboard. If not connected, it runs at maximum speed continuously—just louder than necessary. Connecting it to a CPU fan or the pump itself allows the system to adjust its speed according to CPU temperature. I’ve tried connecting it directly to the pump, so the motherboard can track its operation.
