I’m planning to purchase an RTX 5070 Ti GPU. I currently have an Aorus P850W PSU, but I believe it lacks a 12-pin power cable for the GPU. It only provides six plus two power connectors, and I have three cables in the PSU box—one of which is already connected to my existing GPU, which only requires an 8-pin power connector. I’m considering a converter for the 5070 Ti, but I noticed something about the cables inside the box: one side of the cable has a hollow pin without any metal, while all three cables have this same problem except one side which has all pins with metal around.

I’ve attached pictures of the cables and the PSU specifications. Will I be able to run the 5070 Ti, or will I need a different PSU?

Did you buy that PSU? Did you receive an adapter to convert the 12v-2x6 connector into PCIe connectors for your RTX 5070Ti?

I bought the PSU NEW and unused, but I believe I didn’t receive the adapter in the PSU box. Instead, the adapter is included with the RXT 5070TI. My concern is whether the empty pin without metal in it could cause an issue, as shown in the pictures.

If the PSU was bought new and the included cables are in good condition, you don't need to worry much. The provided cables and adapters should work fine.
