You're starting your PC build for the first time—it's exciting! Since you're aiming to become a computer engineer, it's great that you're thinking ahead. The AMD website mentions that any R7 chipset works with your APU, which is good news. Consider focusing on choosing components that match your budget and goals, and don't hesitate to ask questions as you go along.

Some GPUs work well with your APU, but only the Crossfire R7 240 and R7 250 are recommended—they’re significantly slower. You can find any GPU on the market and it should perform fine. Prices vary from 260 to 950 depending on model and budget. Note: If you meant something else, clarify for a more accurate answer.

The 750 Ti is a strong option, but it depends on what you value most—performance, price, or features. The R7 260X and R7 250 are also competitive, especially in their price ranges. Compare your priorities to make the best choice.

750ti performs better than 250, roughly comparable to 260x, though it feels a bit old. 950 is now replacing it.

The R9 380 delivers improved performance by up to 15%, and it may be purchased for approximately $30 savings during favorable market conditions.

APUs work most efficiently when paired with dual or quad-channel RAM that runs at fast clock rates. Check out this video for more details. It’s worth considering whether investing in large-capacity, high-speed RAM is necessary, or if a simpler 750 Ti or 950 Ti option might suffice.
