I ran it on my g3-era iMac, so it would have been OS 7 through 9 or so. It was an RTS of sorts, involved some diplomacy with alien races (no, it's no in the Masters of Orion series) and you could build and trade and make alliances. GFX were bright and clean and IME, simple. I believe it was isometric view, almost sure of that part. I know it's not a lot to go on, sorry.
