Hello, sorry for the confusion. I’m not very familiar with PCs, so I’m hoping you can assist me. I’m trying out a custom build I made about six months ago, and while everything looks normal, it doesn’t perform as expected. It runs smoothly during gaming or editing, but when it flags below expectations, something seems off. I came here looking for tips from others, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Specs: Ryzen 9 3900X, RTX 2080 Ti, ASUS Dual OC, Corsair 32GB RAM, Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite, MOBO 650W PSU

Everything seems okay. Are you checking if the RAM is running at its correct speed (is XMP activated)?

Yeah it is. My ram was fine. Just was a little anxious over it saying below performancs. Thanks

benchmark results aren't reliable; you're safe as long as it's working.

Someone likely increased their system's speed.

It might be a false positive since you didn’t finish the bench. However, ensure both GPU and CPU are using the performance power plans, then rerun the test. Other tests like Firestrike or Heaven could provide more insight, though they wouldn’t likely place you in the 25th or 29th percentile—this suggests another issue. Remember, no benchmark is perfectly accurate, but results within the margin of error are still useful for adjustments. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/34074795

It wouldn't be a problem because the focus is on the number of samples that perform better, not just differences in performance. This explains why deviation in samples is important for statistics.

More data points indicate your device isn't operating at its usual speed, which aligns with the note: "it's lagging behind expectations." I didn't mean his configuration would be 75% slower than comparable models, but rather that 75% of other tested 2080Ti units performed better, or about 71% of the r9 3900x models were faster. This suggests potential improvements are needed on his hardware.
