When I power on my PC, the GPU fans remain completely still, causing temperatures to rise to about 50°C and sometimes leading to shutdowns. The only solution that works is using MSI Afterburner to adjust fan speeds. It seems the fans don't adjust themselves automatically.
This feature isn't commonly associated with MSI, yet certain producers employ a method called Zero RPM mode to minimize sound.
The shutdown condition was a bit unclear at first, but generally, GPUs come with a zero-RPM setting that stays off until around 60°C, which helps keep things quiet until necessary. MSI Afterburner usually doesn’t work with this feature unless you adjust it, and if you’ve set AB to manage fan speed, opening the software can override it and cause fans to spin up.
It appears your issue might have been about a quick launch. Likely, your GPU is working properly.
