I used my R9 Fury with Witcher 3 on low settings and ultra graphics. It ran smoothly at about 58-74 FPS without any visual issues. After turning it off, performance improved significantly and there was no loss of quality. These Nvidia features don’t seem to matter much for gameplay.

Examine the character's hair. If it looks bad, the hair quality is decent. When it appears fine, you'll notice several small hairs that look more detailed. It's not an exact match but it's close. Around 4:40 you can see a similar scene with both visible and hidden hair details. The point about FFXV being broken isn't important here, though it's a good illustration of what hairworks are capable of.

It's a tiny aspect you'll miss unless you're focusing on hair.
