Initially, all my Steam titles run smoothly. I've tested various drivers and kept temperatures under 70°C. I also attempted to fix individual games, but once I launch something like Battlefield 4, Titanfall, or Crysis 3, it freezes quickly. The screen turns white and a generic message appears. This isn't the first issue I've faced with Battlefield or any Origin game. Every week I encounter a new DirectX error, and I'm struggling to resolve these problems without a full system reinstall. Help needed.
Additionally, my frame rate has dropped around 20% lately even though the clock speeds remain steady. In Task Manager, it shows my 4.4Ghz 4670K running at full capacity.
I'm likely the least overclocked 680 Lightning I own, so it's running at its default speed. Meanwhile, my 4670K is clocking 4.4ghz with low voltage and has successfully passed an 8-hour stability test—no crashes in my Steam games. Also, "thi" seems to be a typo; it’s probably not relevant or needed.
It features the latest, improved bios, but adjusting power settings can be tricky. I tested it with a multimeter earlier, and voltages were usually limited. Still, increasing the voltage at regular speeds might work if you believe it will help.
