So, it wasn't anything fancy. I reinstalled Windows, got all the essentials for a gaming setup, just wanted to try out a game and it worked perfectly. Every title opened in fullscreen at my native resolution (2560x1440p). Of course, I wanted to switch to fullscreen, but every time I did, the game showed up smaller than its native size. Checked display settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel – everything seemed okay. My PC recognized the screen without issues and gaming on a PS5 was smooth. This problem started after a system reset. I've reinstalled the GPU drivers already and tested with a different HDMI cable. I searched for DSR in the NVIDIA panel but couldn't find it. My setup includes a 4080 Super, an I9-11900K processor, and the MSI MPG27 QD-OLED monitor.
