The B450 MSI gaming plus max and the B450 MSI Tomahawk are similar in features, but the Tomahawk is generally more affordable. Both support AM4 sockets for 2nd and 3rd generation processors. The main difference lies in price and possibly minor design tweaks.

Same output, but Tomahawk includes LEDs on the board. It also offers 5 standard USB ports plus one USB-C, whereas Gaming Plus provides 6 regular USB ports. Both use identical VRMs.
