some temperatures on my MB are above 100°C, but I’m not sure what they mean. Are these normal or a problem? Could it be harmful to the device?
It's tough to say they might be faulty sensors, especially if they appear right away after a cold boot. CPU VRMs can actually reach up to 125°C. For instance, some components on my board that seem suspect include: AUXTIN1: +7.0°C sensor = thermistor AUXTIN2: -9.0°C sensor = thermistor Also the optional sensor left disconnected by the board reads: T_Sensor: -40.0°C
