My computer freezes for half a second, and all sound (ingame, youtube, spotify, you name it) gets out of sync (about a 2-3 second delay). The problem seems to occur when I load Diablo IV, and I click on something on my second monitor. After looking around on the web, I've found people with similar problems, although nothing related to Diablo IV specifically. The desync goes away if I change the audio format from 24bit 48kHz to 16bit. -Disconnect and reconnect my soundcard -Change audio buffer size But the problem reoccur when I again click on my second monitor(youtube or what not) Sometimes I can get popping sounds from the audio, but this doesn't happen every time. The game could crash after this stutter/sound desync problem had happend a couple of times. Everything would freeze, but I could still hear the sound from spotify or youtube. Only option I had was to hard boot the computer. I read on a different forum that turning adaptive sync off in adrenaline software stopped the game from crashing, and it did. But the stutter followed by the audio desync still persist. I've updated: Network drivers Audio drivers/Focusrite 2i2 3rd.gen drivers GPU drivers (6800xt) BIOS Chipset I have take the battery out of the MB, and only enabled XMP in BIOS. I've read this thread https://forums. and it seems like we have similar problems, but the solution did not help me, and I've never had BSOD. I don't understand why this is happening all of a sudden. I've had no similar issues ever. I use Cubase 12 pro, and have never had any sound problems like this. English is not my native language, so I'm sorry if I've made anything unclear, please ask if anyone need more info This LatencyMon report only peaks on Wdf01000.sys and dxgkrnl.sys, but I've had peaks with ndis.sys aswell. I have no knowledge regarding this, so it's difficult to debug. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CONCLUSION _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. The High Definition Audio Device continues to show latency problems even after disabling it. I've tried updating the drivers with Driver Booster Pro and performed an SFC/scan via Command Prompt as an administrator.
