I recently looked into Task Manager and noticed low FPS (around 100) in my games, with two processes using most of my GPU (csrss.exe and dwm.exe). This also happens when the PC is idle. After closing all apps, the usage stayed near 40%. Anyone else face similar issues? What steps can I take to fix this? Thanks for the help!

csrss.exe and dwm.exe are vital graphics elements in Windows. DDU along with updated graphics drivers play a role too. Check if video encoding is active and turn off shadowplay or similar recording tools. Even background apps might rely on these processes—verify thoroughly. If needed, perform a malware scan using several different programs.

The 3D section of the GPU is experiencing significant stress, malware was scanned using three different methods, but no issues were found. All drivers are currently up to date.
