It works well together. However, if your main interest is gaming, allocate less budget to the Ryzen 5 3600 and consider investing more in a superior graphics card.

They would complement each other well. You might want to purchase additional GPUs if you have the means, though your component choices are perfectly fine.

I already purchased the GPU and have been using it for a month. I'm just checking if the CPU will perform well with it. Thanks for your quick response! Also, when I bought this GPU, it was £384 instead of the £428 you mentioned.

Hello! Your ROG Strix x470-F board is up-to-date, so your CPU should work fine. After flashing the motherboard, you can proceed with installing the 3700X as it’s compatible with this platform. No need for an older CPU unless you have specific requirements.
