Hello, you're planning to purchase the Gigabyte R9 290 Windforce and learned about a GOLD Award coupon from AMD through the NSF Space Edition program for R9 series GPUs. However, your vendor states that these coupons are only available on certain AMD R9 models. This raises questions about how the deal functions—does AMD offer them universally, or is there a limitation? It seems like your vendor might be restricting eligibility, which could affect your purchase. Clarifying this will help you make an informed decision.
I purchased an XFX R9 290 from Newegg a week ago and used visachekout for $25. I didn’t receive the Never Settle bundle, so I reached out to them and they explained that because I’d already used a promotion, I wasn’t eligible for another one. It was a bit disappointing, but I wondered what options were available.
I never managed to get the never settle code. I believe manufacturers are pushing things or causing trouble. I really want my free games, thank you!
I still have my gold never settle ticket somewhere... it arrives with your new card. The majority of the games included are mediocre. If Newegg mentioned it comes with the ticket, it should be sent together. My free Nvidia game arrived via email right after my payment processed. It’s also unused.
It should have appeared on your card while checking out. You’ll receive an email containing a code from them—visit their website, enter the code, choose your games, obtain Steam codes, add a game, activate it on Steam, and then proceed. If it didn’t show up, reach out to AMD.
I reached out to Newegg and they stated that because I had already used one promotion, I wouldn't qualify for Never Settle.
I'm not certain about that. I haven't checked a card without a note yet, so I can't confirm anything. I think you should reach out to Newegg for the best advice.
