I own a Phenom II x4 980 BE that works well at 4.3Ghz, but I’m bringing in a new board since my MSI is no longer functional. I have a GTX 670 with 2GB and 8GB RAM Kingston HyperX Blue 1600, running Windows 10 Pro 64 with native resolution 1680x1050. I’m playing GTA V: Fallout 4 and other recent titles. Thanks.

In GTA V, you should perform well at a medium to high difficulty level for the final boss encounter—around low to medium settings.

It's not too tough, but your GTX 670 will likely need a boost soon.

They’ll challenge your card well. A low to medium setting should yield about 30 frames.

Yeah, or an R9 390 offers a noticeable boost in performance. The 970 model was built with 670 users in mind.

Are you being targeted? Your 7770 played GTA V at 30-45 FPS on medium settings using a pirated copy, and you're considering buying it on Steam. A 670 seems similar to a 7770, right? Mostly because of your CPU performance. Some people say a 670 matches the speed of a 7770. Haha!

The GTX670 is a more advanced graphics card that might not be the strongest option. I personally used it and understand its capabilities. It's surprising how the HD7770 could deliver 45 fps in GTA5.
