Hey there! You're thinking about upgrading your PC this month, which is great. For the CPU, you're considering options like the R9 5900X and the Intel i7-12700K. Both have their pros and cons depending on what you prioritize—gaming performance or overall multitasking. Let me know if you want more details!

I’d abandon everything; the MSI stands out as the best GPU, yet a 3060 Ti doesn’t require those CPUs. A 6750 would likely surpass it for similar budget. Also, the remaining specs are lacking. The Gigabyte PSU tends to blow up, and there’s been discussion about the Castle AIO exploding (seriously, lol). I owned one that performed poorly... OloY also produces RAM that fails XMP support. Overall, other components are questionable.

Absolutely not everyone experiences the same issues. There was one PSU model with significant problems, and it seems they were addressed, but this doesn’t apply to all gigabyte units. Be careful with your budget on a PSU—this is likely because you’re only using it for gaming. If you’re planning production work, the 12400f pairs well with the 3060TI, while the 12700K offers better performance than the 5900X overall. You might also want to wait a few weeks to evaluate the Ryzen 7000 series, but make sure to pair it with DDR5 RAM if that’s your goal.

Bro Gigabyte consistently delivered top-notch manufacturing, whereas MSI fell short.

This feedback isn't very helpful. For choosing the right path, 12700kf is a choice but 12700k is preferable for future troubleshooting. If you're concerned about Intel Quicksync options, go with that. To get the best performance from the 12700K, use a Z690 motherboard starting around $200. The 5900X may run slower but offers better power efficiency and more affordable overclocking boards (around $150). For cooling, opt for an NH-D15 or NH-U12S—cheaper and durable, delivering 95-100% performance of the 360mm AIO while lasting longer.

Consider postponing your purchase until the end of the month to review the AM5 processor evaluations and compatible motherboards. Although they might cost a bit more, you'll need to upgrade to DDR5, which is significantly pricier than DDR4. Even if it ends up being too costly, there could be some savings on the older AM4 models. You probably don't require a 5900x or 5950x; a 5800x might offer a better value for performance and price.

It's a bit more expensive, but it offers a lot more features than DDR4.

And I'm uncertain about the exact setup—though it seems the second 3060 might not be viable. SLi isn't available for any 30 series card except the 3090 and 3090 Ti, and investing there wouldn't be as effective as going for something like a 3070 Ti or a 3080 if you check the market.
