I own a PC with an APU 2400G that has run smoothly for four years. Recently, I upgraded to a 3060 which caused the CPU to bottleneck. I’m considering an upgrade and noticed thermal issues—CPU temperatures reached 50-65°C during idle and spiked to 100°C under load. I checked Cinebench and saw it running at 100% load but still within limits. My room is quite warm (around 40°C), so I upgraded my cooler to a Coolermaster ML240 AIO. After installation, idle temps stayed between 40-55°C, but gaming temps jumped to 50-60°C with the MSI B450 gaming plus and X-AMP profile 1. Cinebench reported up to 85°C max. It seems the temperatures are higher than expected, especially during games. I’m worried about overheating and performance stability. Should I be concerned? Thanks, Kaushal.

Idle around 50-60°C and gaming at 55-75°C works well with the 40°C room temperature. The idle temps might be a bit high, but nothing to worry about. Gaming performance remains solid despite the ambient heat. The ML240 isn’t the top 240mm AIO, so that’s something to consider. Max temperature on Cinibench is 85°C, which is reasonable since you probably don’t run it nonstop. Just relax and keep playing—nothing seems risky.

Aio isn't really appealing, should I recommend an affordable dual setup such as the Peerless Assassin 120 (SE) or Ag/AK 620? These options should handle the ML240 well. India and China are in a tense relationship, so you might find some solid Chinese alternatives like ID Cooling at a reasonable price. Although I’m aware of the friction between the two regions, it’s worth checking out. The 85C is completely normal, no worries here.

I noticed my bias toward AIO and realized I was mistaken. Thanks for the feedback!
