The system runs smoothly on Windows 11 with an MSI Crosshair 15 B12UGZ laptop (x64). It features a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, and 8GB GDDR6 memory. The GPU supports up to 1610MHz boost and delivers up to 140W power with dynamic boosting. Temperatures remain elevated—CPU hits 90°C and reaches 100°C on the die. During gaming, GPU temps spike to 85-90°C. After a recent service, temperatures haven’t improved; in fact, they’ve risen further. The GPU is now throttling, and at around 100W it doesn’t maintain full performance. My 3D Mark scores have fallen nearly 4000 points, and Cinebench R23 has dropped significantly compared to previous reviews. (My score: 5681 vs reviewer’s 10639). If the gap was only about 1000 points, I’d be satisfied, but a 4000-point decline is too much. The issue isn’t power-related since it starts at 135W and stays under 140W, though it doesn’t sustain that level. The CPU also throttles quickly after just one minute. I’ve updated drivers but seen no improvement. Please help—I appreciate your time. Thanks for reading!
