From what I know, Thermal Grizzly thermal paste may be harmful to aluminum. AMD employs either copper or aluminum for their processor contact plates, depending on the model. For the Ryzen 5 3600, confirm the exact plate material. Thank you! Mag

IHS material is typically nickel-plated copper. Certain Thermal Grizzle conductonauts (liquid metals) can interact with them. Remember, Thermal Grizzly doesn’t just use liquid metal—it also applies standard thermal paste such as Kryonaut, which won’t corrode these surfaces. As noted on the Kryonaut product page:
