There’s an issue in my system—low frame rate on the second screen and CPU core 23 handling most of the load.
Hi there, I’m looking for guidance. I recently installed a new Pre-Build from MSI about a week ago, upgrading from a Ryzen 5600X to a 13700KF with GTX3080 and a 4080. I’m still using the preinstalled OS and drivers. On my old system, I could run Diablo 4 smoothly on the main screen while streaming YouTube or Netflix on the secondary screen without any problems. Now, with the newer version, I can’t watch anything on the secondary screen while playing the same game at the same settings. Is there a setting or option in the Pre-Build OS that might be causing this issue? I even tried Factorio, which runs completely without graphics, but it starts crashing when I open the menu screen. Also, Task Manager shows Core23 handling most of the load, peaking at 100% a few times while others stay low. I don’t think there’s a hardware error, just something in the settings that’s affecting performance. Only the difference is that I was using W11 Pro and switched to W11 Home before I planned to reinstall the OS. Please let me know what setting or configuration might be responsible... Help!
Did you accidentally open Diablo 4 in full screen? Make sure it's set correctly, as other windows can't open when using 1 in FS mode.
It runs in a windowed or fullscreen mode, but the issue appears across all games—Diablo, Factorio, Monster Train, Vampire Survivors and similar 8-bit titles. I shared a screenshot of my CPU load distribution from TaskManager. Attempts made so far: turned off hardware acceleration in Chrome, disabled transparency in Windows, tried using a different browser. Nothing resolved the problem.
