Hello, I've been using my computer for roughly a year now. After assembling the system, I experienced a glitch with the BIOS. During the first setup there were no issues until I activated XMP. When I power it off, the error persists. It doesn<|pad|> to actually halt operations, but I rarely need to use the BIOS, so it doesn’t create major problems. Recently, I realized my machine is too loud and am trying to identify the cause. Having a functional BIOS would greatly simplify things. I've attached a video of the strange error for your reference. I hope this helps.

I've already tried resetting and updating the BIOS, yet the strange glitch persists when enabling XMP. It seems your GPU and motherboard aren't communicating properly, but I'm not sure what might be causing the issue.
In general this motherboard has been a massive pain. Lots of coil hum, fan setting has been a nightmare (cant make it quite at all with noctua fans (ignore the stock cpu fan)), and for some reason my psu likes to occasionally get really loud for a few seconds (didnt on previous pc). Would not recommend, but I cant currently afford to replace something that technically "Works".
If it's not needed, just leave it off right now. If you're unsure, check first and then turn it back on if needed. It's okay to be a bit unsure, but that's what I'm trying to explain simply.
Did you attempt the process without using a discrete GPU? "If I disable XMP, the error persists" — did you verify that the RAM speed was actually reset? Fan Control is a useful tool for managing fans in Windows. Edited December 17, 2023 by leclod
I just tested with integrated graphics and the issue is gone. It’s not perfect, but a simple fix if needed later. (I didn’t realize I could rely on the CPU). This suggests a GPU problem, which isn’t ideal. The most costly fix might be involved. I’ve installed fancontrol, but it only recognizes my CPU fans and GPU, not the case fans or GPU. I think this is because I’m using a PWM splitter. The CPU fan is definitely loud as expected, but the PSU seems to be too. I’ll need to do some adjustments. Still curious why my motherboard doesn’t support my GPU well.
