Is it in the same position as the other RAM slot you installed? It seems like the RAM might be faulty or unstable if XMP is active.

same slot confirmed. xmp is disabled now, seems so. I’m not sure if it’s related to this issue, but the seller mentioned an error with the board. If I try overclocking and then power off, I’ll see a warning that the overclock failed next time.
