I’m facing issues with my Windows 11 setup, have tried everything, and need assistance.
I’m installing from a USB made with Rufus onto a brand-new SSD. No other drives are present.
ASUS Z370 PII motherboard, BIOS configured for UEFI.
When I choose the installation drive, I encounter this repeated error message:

I’m setting up from a USB made with Rufus and trying to install it onto a brand-new SSD. No other drives are being installed. Your screenshots indicate otherwise—there appear to be three additional drives, one of which is the USB installer (Disk 1). It might help to provide a complete list of all drives in your build. Also, could you confirm the BIOS version on your motherboard? Instead of Rufus, have you considered using Windows Media Creation Tools to create a bootable USB installer?

Remove the 1Tb win11 partition. Check if the system detects the empty area and proceeds with installation. Also, confirm whether your motherboard received a BIOS update tailored for Windows 11.

Ensure the clean target drive is ready for installation, free of partitions. Disconnect all other drives to prevent bootloader from appearing on a different partition than the Windows OS drive. Note: These are merely removable/unconnected card reader devices; you may skip them.

Thanks, guys. I believed the installer was meant to clean the disk and set up the partitions it required, but removing the partition was what completed the process. (I’ve already received the BIOS update, thank you for confirming. All the other disks had empty USB ports.)
