The router isn't necessary since your modem handles all three tasks. If you require additional Ethernet ports beyond what the modem offers, consider using an unmanaged switch to expand connectivity for your devices.
Does the Home Hub run on its own power supply? I’m planning to fix the Home Hub independently, avoiding external routers.
The setup uses a Fiber ONT, not a generic replacement. Try fixing the device first to identify any problems. If that doesn’t work, check the fiber line with Bell and proceed accordingly, though minor fiber issues are unlikely to completely disrupt the connection.
