There seems to be an issue with your download speeds in certain apps. In Steam, games load quickly regardless of speed, but when downloading from the browser or Epic Games Launcher, you notice slower performance around 300kB/s. You suspect it might relate to your M.2 SSD (Corsair MP600 Pro NH), though you're unsure. Someone can help you troubleshoot this.

The anticipated speed is typically measured in megabits per second. Using tools like speedtest.net provides actual performance data based on your connection and location.

Launch Task Manager, navigate to the Performance section, then initiate the download. The component operating at full capacity is the issue. If not, check your browser and Epic Games settings for bandwidth restrictions.

When steam works smoothly, it’s unlikely your M.2 SSD is the issue. As @Eigenvektor mentioned, check speedtest.net and share the outcomes. If the results match expectations, the problem probably lies elsewhere—such as settings in Epic or browser configurations. You might also consider reinstalling Firefox or running the speedtest test with no extra programs or extensions installed.
