I've done quite a bit, but nothing turned out right. I'm going to compare my 4:3 stretched 1024x768 with Tweeday's 4:3 1280x1024. It seems his game looks stretched more than mine, even though usually lower resolution makes it look tighter.

The adjustment menu includes a setting for resolution. Modify it to 4:3 or the desired value. Alternatively, you could simply rely on the monitor's native resolution, which would likely resolve the issue and provide a better appearance.
