today my machine restarted three times without any warning, i checked the minidump to look for crash logs but didn’t find anything. the only details in the event viewer are a kernel power issue and possibly an overheating problem. i reviewed the cpu temperatures and they were normal before each restart.

system specs:
cpu: Intel Core i7-12700K
motherboard: MSI MPG Z690 CARBON WIFI
cooler: DeepCool LS720 360mm radiator
gpu: MSI 3080 Ti GAMING X TRIO
ram: G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM 64gb (2x32gb) 6400mhz cl32-39-39-102 1.40v
power supply: Seasonic - FOCUS GX-850, 850w 80+ gold psu

the ram is brand new and i put it in a week ago, but i suspect it could be the cause of the problems after i never experienced any issues before installing this new ram set.
