Hi, it seems your brother's experience with Knights of the Old Republic has changed recently. The game was previously smooth, but now it's running at about 5 frames per second. There doesn't appear to be a clear reason yet, and no online sources have explained it. Possible causes could include hardware limitations, updates, or changes in the game itself. It might help to check system specs or try restarting the game.

Disk usage refers to how much storage space is occupied on your device. How much free space do you currently have available? Have you recently uploaded any unwanted videos? Have you performed an antivirus scan recently?

He hasn't downloaded any videos and hasn't run antivirus scans. The game requires 4-5 GB, while the available storage is 190 GB on a 1 TB drive.

Are there problems with other games? I think the main concern is likely your computer rather than the game itself. Here are a few things to verify: 1) Look in Event Viewer for any errors that might relate to this issue. 2) Open Task Manager while playing and check resource usage. 3) List all active programs to see if any are communicating with the game. 4) Reinstall the game if nothing resolves the problem.
