i was in start up bios after building my pc, and i was going to over clock it so i set the wattage to 230 watts for my CPU (i have no idea what i was doing) and forgot that i had done that and exited bios, the computer shut off and when i turned it back on it went back to start up bios. i did that for a while until the computer just stopped posting all together. I'm running integrated graphics instead of using a graphics card Dbug led showed a dram error and a CPU error I'm using a Ryzen 5 7600x processor is my CPU dead or is there a problem with the ram,I've been collecting parts for this pc for the past 2 years any help would be appreciated. (the mother board has a broken Dram slot.)

your motherboard is an MSI B650 MagTomahawk, you have 64 gigabytes of RAM at 6000mhz using Corsair DDR5, your power supply is a 1000-watt 80 plus gold unit.

It seems you adjusted the power settings, which shouldn't cause any issues. To begin troubleshooting, please keep the power button pressed until all lights stop. Disconnect the power from the PC's open case and remove the CMOS battery. Hold the power for 20 seconds to discharge all capacitors, then replace the CMOS battery and close the case. Plug in the PC power and try to access the BIOS again. Let me know what happens.

Just... why? Unless you're building with 10 year old parts there's simply no justification in overclocking a brand new system, let alone by randomly changing BIOS values. Do what UnusualDevices suggested and clear CMOS.

I'm swapping out the mainboard to allow repairs on the RAM slot, then checking if it functions afterward. If issues arise, I'll send another message.

Switching the motherboard might resolve the problem, but it depends on the cause.

It's likely I'd wager a dollar.
