Your current system runs with 16GB of RAM, and you're considering upgrading or swapping components. It's safe to use different brands like Corsair or TeamGroup as long as they match the same specifications—specifically the amount (2x8GB), speed (3600MHz), and timing (CL16). You can also use RAM with slightly different timings, such as 16-16-16-36, as long as the overall configuration aligns. Changing the original timing settings to match slower components isn't necessary unless you're experiencing stability issues. Just ensure compatibility between the RAM model and your motherboard.

Usually a different RAM model works, though matching sticks might help more. Trying at a slower speed from both kits should succeed.
