There might be a possibility that the new PSU caused the PC to malfunction.
I recently changed from an 850 watt power supply to a 1000w one for an upgrade. After setting up the new PSU and connecting the cables, I turned on the PC. It started but the fan wires were overheating. I replaced them with new fans and tried again, but it only briefly turned on before shutting down. I’ve also tested it using my old PSU without success. Could the new PSU have damaged the motherboard or other important parts?
It seems your motherboard might be the problem. It’s possible you purchased a defective power supply that damaged it. If you have the chance, consider replacing it with a fresh one.
