Good morning! I'm facing a challenge that I'm trying to solve quickly. Last night I swapped in a new AMD GPU to swap out my Nvidia one, but I still received the "no signal" message on the screen. After replacing the old card and using the integrated graphics on the motherboard, the problem persisted. All cables—HDMI and DisplayPort—appear intact, so it's unlikely the hardware is faulty.

From what I've learned, this could be related to a driver issue. I manually removed the Nvidia software (only after realizing about DDU), then downloaded the AMD drivers, disconnected the internet, took out the Nvidia card, and installed the AMD version myself. Everything worked until I installed the new AMD card, which caused the issue to reappear.

I'm trying to figure out how to connect my monitor to the onboard port so I can use DDU to clear the old driver files while still dealing with the no-signal problem.

Details about my system:
Original build – Ryzen 5 5600GT 3.6GHz (4.6GHz turbo), 6-core, 12-thread, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, AMD Radeon Vega GPU. Previously used GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER. Now replacing it with a Hellhound AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT.

Power supply: Currently using a 550W PSU (though I thought it was 650W), which still powered everything when the new GPU was installed. I'm planning to upgrade to an 850W PSU soon, but I'm not sure if that will help.

Any suggestions or alternative steps I should try?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide complete system details. Please list your specifications clearly, following this format:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model.
I changed my old GPU to a new one, but still can't get signal to the monitor after trying integrated graphics on the mainboard. This could indicate the motherboard is no longer functioning properly. Depending on your motherboard's model, you might try a BIOS recovery to see if it restores your system.

CPU specifications include a Ryzen 5 5600G at 3.9GHz (4.4GHz turbo), 6-core 12-thread architecture with air cooling. The motherboard is IPASON A520-B, and the system runs Windows 11 Home. RAM is 16GB DDR4 at 3200MHz. Storage options are a 1TB NVME SSD and an HDD. The GPU features AMD Radeon Vega Graphics integrated with CPU support. Power supply is a Segotep PR650 (550W). The chassis is IPASON Battlefield S7. The PC was purchased new from Newegg in April 2024, still under its one-year warranty. I plan to reset the BIOS and will update you on the results. Update: After checking CMOS, connecting the monitor to the integrated GPU, it now enters power save mode instead of showing "no signal." Is this a positive development or should I try further adjustments with the motherboard?
