There is no display, and the DRAM and VGA lights are flashing, occasionally the CPU light is also active.
Backstory: Two months ago I had to turn off and turn back on the PSU for my system to start. Once it booted, everything worked fine. However, last month it failed to boot completely and didn’t display the DRAM, VGA, or sometimes the CPU lights on the motherboard. I’ve tried almost anything—checked all connectors, changed RAM and GPU, replaced the PSU, and even got a new one—but the issue still exists. I assumed the problem might be with the motherboard, so I returned it for them to confirm there was no issue. I’m looking for any suggestions.
a faulty cpu can indicate a defect at any moment, and using it normally rarely changes the outcome.
if you lack a way to verify with a known working compatible cpu, you might take the device to any nearby repair shop for testing.
consider updating the latest bios if you suspect a problem or have tried previous updates.
a connected storage device wouldn't trigger errors on cpu, gpu, or dram indicators.
it typically just prevents the os from starting.
I'll bring it to BestBuy when I receive my mobo, to check if they can run some tests. It seems like the CPU might be failing, possibly due to insufficient cooling in my tower, causing it to get quite hot.
I attempted a flash to the latest version, but nothing changed.
Appreciate the advice!
